Each of Claudia Carreón's shawl pins and rings is a one-of-a-kind treasure. No two are alike!
Made of copper (pink), brass (gold), and/or nickel and silver, each is handcrafted with love in Claudia's east coast studio. Semi-precious stones and gems add color and sparkle, as do abalone shells.
Perhaps most versatile are the shawl rings which can be worn with ANY fabric, including silk! These rings don't pierce your fabric as a pin does; rather, they're fastened by pulling your fabric through back-mounted rings. For silks, small rings work best. For hand knits, any ring will work nicely, though you'll probably prefer a large ring for bulky knits. Large rings with abalone can be worn as pendants as well!
A link to Claudia's online video tutorial demonstrating multiples ways to wear each piece is included with every purchase. To clean, simply use a polishing cloth.
Knitting Fever's Furreal yarn is deliciously soft and cozy. Use it sparingly as a collar or trim or go big with a hat and matching wrap. This 100% polyester faux fur is so soft to the touch, you'll never want to set it down!
