HAPPY NEW YEAR — We wish you health and happiness in 2022.

Test Knitting Hub

As we build our Team Ruff Collection of patterns, designed exclusively for Izzy Knits' RUFF+TUMBLE yarn, we'll be periodically posting projects here for testing.

For each project, the process will be the same…
Izzy Knits will post a photo and description of the project, along with a deadline
Prospective Testers should review the description carefully, agree to the deadline, then click "Sign Me Up" at the bottom of the page. This will launch a brief survey (powered by Survey Monkey), at the end of which you will enter your contact information.
Izzy Knits will reply to your survey within 24 hours with an email providing further instructions
Testers must commit to completing their project and submitting feedback with photos on or before the published deadline
Testers must purchase their own RUFF+TUMBLE from Izzy Knits but may keep what they knit
Testers will receive the pattern after filling out a brief survey and purchasing their yarn
Izzy Knits will be available throughout the testing phase to answer knitters' questions, either via email or phone (# on pattern, M-F, 9am-5pm PST)
will receive a personalized coupon code for 20% off any future Izzy Knits order, assuming their piece is finished and feedback with photos submitted on or before the published deadline
Izzy Knits will provide testers with pattern updates as appropriate, as well as a code to download the final, published version once it's released on Ravelry

I'm a Fan! Colorblock Dog Sweater
Deadline Extended: January 15, 2020
Not recommended for deep-chested breeds

This recipe for a custom knit fits most dog breeds, excluding those considered deep-chested (such as westies, boxers, German shepherds, greyhounds, standard poodles, and retrievers).

The recipe starts with taking your dog's measurements, followed by knitting two quick swatches. Based on your values (measurements & gauge), our Recipe Worksheet will then walk you through the calculations for a tailored neck, well-fitted chest, well-placed leg openings, and (ahem) a mess-free belly! Everything your pet deserves.

Testers MUST swatch to get their gauge in 1x1 Rib and Stockinette (knit in the round) prior to commencing.

Skill Level—Intermediate—Adventurous Knitter who's not afraid of trying something new. The stitches are simple: K, P, M1L, M1R, K2Tog, SSK, KFB and German short rows.

Suggested Needles—US 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4.0 mm). Circular needles or DPNs. Instructions are written for a 40" circular needle with interchangeable tips and the Magic Loop method for small circumference knitting.

Notions—Calculator, (1) Beginning of round marker, (4) Locking stitch markers (preferably of 4 different colors), Scissors, Tapestry needle

YarnRUFF+TUBMLE DK in two (2) colors: Main & Contrasting
NOTE: We're not exactly sure at what size dog it jumps from 1 ball to 2 balls of each color. I have plenty left over with 1 ball of each color for my 20 lb schnoodle. If you're not sure and want to order extra just in case, you can return unused yarn per ourShipping & Returns policy.
