These quick knits were designed to not only be fun but instructional as well. Designed by Suzanne Nielsen, the Stitch School Mitts and Scarf (sold separately or as a bundle) make lovely hand-made gifts, whether for yourself (who doesn’t deserve a gift?!) or others.
The name “Stitch School” is derived from the variety of techniques used in the creation of these pieces, all of which are clearly detailed in the pattern. Techniques include provisional cast on, I-cord edging, Quaker ribbing, lace, Kitchener stitch, and I-cord bind off…all of which are extremely useful and a great addition to any knitter’s knowledge base. The scarf can be seamlessly joined to form a loop or left straight. Your choice.
Sold individually or as a discounted bundle. Available as printed patterns or downloadable PDFs.
