Palm Springs Glory Shawl - Knit Pattern

No California city is as closely identified with mid-century modern architecture as Palm Springs. It was Palm Springs' retro vibe that inspired Ariane Gallizzi's Palm Springs Glory Shawl, which references the era's bold geometric patterns, clean and simple lines, and minimalist design... transporting us back to the glory days of Frank Sinatra, Elvis, and Bob Hope (who all owned houses in this delightful desert enclave).

This crescent-shaped shawl is worked in two contrasting colors for maximum "pop" using the Mosaic technique first coined by Barbara G. Walker in the late 1960s. How fitting; how retro!
