This stunning crescent-shaped shawl and coordinating hat were designed by Ariane Gallizzi exclusively for Izzy Knits and were inspired by the fade fashion made popular by Andrea Mowry and Steven West. 

In Izzy's California Fade Shawl, Arianne used three complimentary colorways, held double in different ratios to create a fade. As a bonus, the yarn, held double, creates a wonderfully squishy fabric that is both weighty and airy. Beginning knitters will have little trouble with the basic stitches used: knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 together, slip slip knit, and knit front back.

The Izzy's California Fade Hat can be knit with the yarn remaining from the shawl, or as a stand-alone project. Patterns sold separately or in combination at a reduce price!
